Sean Compton

Sean Compton has more than 20 years of work experience, starting from their role as a Programmer for Carnegie Mellon University Robotics Institute in 1998. Sean has worked in various roles, including Consulting Software Engineer for Decision Coaches, Operations Director for Animal Friends, and Executive Director for K.H.S. In more recent years, Sean has worked for companies such as Bay Area IP, Avalara, and SAP Concur, holding roles ranging from Patent Analyst to Lead Data Analyst. Currently, they hold multiple positions at Amperity, initially as a Customer Solutions Engineer in 2020, then promoted to Technical Account Manager in 2021, and later to Senior Support Engineer in 2022.

Sean Compton earned a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a minor in Chinese Studies, from Carnegie Mellon University between 1994 and 2001. Sean later pursued a Master of Business Administration degree from Chatham University between 2003 and 2006. Sean also studied Pre-Medical at the University of Pittsburgh, but the start and end years of their studies are unknown.
