Melanie Morel-Ferris

Melanie Morel-Ferris is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Vice President of Finance at Ampersand Biomedicines since March 2025. Prior to this role, Melanie held the same title at Orna Therapeutics from May 2024 to March 2025 and briefly at ReNAgade Therapeutics in March 2024, which was acquired by Orna Therapeutics. Melanie's earlier experience includes serving as Vice President of Accounting and Head of Accounting at Relay Therapeutics from June 2020 to February 2024, as well as Chief Accounting Officer and Global Controller at Akcea Therapeutics from November 2017 to June 2020. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Accounting and Economics from Assumption University, obtained between January 1997 and January 2001.
