Roy Welch

Roy Welch has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Roy is currently working as a Controller at Community Boost since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Business Affairs at Blokhaus Inc from July 2022 to February 2023. From June 2019 to June 2022, they held the position of Accounting Manager at Pivot Design, where they were responsible for overseeing cash flow and implementing accounting best practices. Before that, Roy worked at AbelsonTaylor as a Senior Accountant from February 2014 to June 2019, where they maintained the general ledger and executed monthly and year-end closing of the general ledger. From February 2010 to February 2014, they worked as a Staff Accountant at Leo Burnett. Roy's early work experience includes working as a Financial Planner/Income Tax Preparation Assistant at Cornucopia Wealth Management, LLC from September 2007 to July 2009. In this role, they assisted in portfolio management, maintained books using QuickBooks Pro software, and prepared tax returns, among other responsibilities.

Roy Welch obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their degree, they also earned a QuickBooks Certification from the QuickBooks Online Professional institution in April 2022.
