Simon Coles

Co-Founder & CEO at Amphora Research Systems

Simon Coles has held a variety of roles in the technology sector over the past three decades. Simon began their career in 1988 as a Sponsored Student at Motorola, where they worked on integrating various internal systems as part of the New Product Introduction process. In 1995, they joined New Information Paradigms Ltd. as a Senior Systems Analyst and worked on the initial version of FT.com. In 2003, they Co-Founded and served as CEO of Amphora Research Systems Ltd., where they created the first commercially available Electronic Laboratory Notebook solution. In 2014, they founded Amphora Solutions Ltd. and served as Chairman. Finally, in 2019, they Co-Hosted the Conversations in Clean Podcast. Most recently, in 2022, they founded and became Chairman of The Better Conversations Foundation.

Simon Coles attended Gresham's School from 1980 to 1988, and then went on to the University of Surrey, where they obtained an MEng in Information Systems Engineering between 1988 and 1995. In 2014, they achieved Professional Intuitive Training from Erin Pavlina.
