Jean Robinson, CPA

Jean Robinson, CPA has held a variety of roles in the accounting and finance industry over the past 19 years. Jean began their career in 2002 as a Capital Assets Accounting Intern at Staples, where they coded capital invoices, tracked spending against approved capital projects, and entered data of invoice information. In 2004, they joined Brown Brothers Harriman as an Operations Specialist - Global Fund Accountant, where they processed cash transactions, verified and booked trades, and ran reports. In 2006, they joined Grant Thornton LLP as a Senior Audit Associate, where they worked in a small team of field auditors to audit the financial statements in accordance with GAAP and ensure the timely delivery of the audit opinion. From 2008 to 2021, they worked at Hancock Natural Resource Group, holding various roles such as Assistant Controller, Contractor, Client Reporting, Controller, Client Reporting, Assistant Controller, Corporate Finance, and Accounting Manager, Corporate Finance. In 2021, they joined Ampion, Inc. as Controller.

Jean Robinson, CPA holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross, which they received in 2004. Jean then attended the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University, where they received a MSA/MBA in Business and Accounting in 2006. In 2010, they completed their Masters in Taxation from Bentley University - McCallum Graduate School of Business. Finally, they became a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Massachusetts in 2008.
