Russell Buchanan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in healthcare technology and management. Currently serving as the Director of Architecture & Standards for Provincial Programs at eHealth Centre of Excellence since June 2022, Russell has a strong background that includes leadership roles at Accenture, where tenure lasted from March 2012 to June 2022 as Director of Strategy & Consulting and Industry Leader for Standards & Terminology. Prior experience includes Director of Operations at Lantana Consulting Group, Director of the Solutions Implementation Group at Canada Health Infoway, and various leadership positions at Kaiser Permanente, including Director of Convergent Medical Terminology. Russell began a career in clinical data services at Mediware Information Systems and served as IT Coordinator for Pharmacy at University Health Network.
