Dr. Angela G. Kennedy

Dr. Angela G. Kennedy serves as the Lead Professional Learning Specialist at Amplify since May 2022, focusing on teaching educators how to implement the DIBELS8 assessment program and the CKLA curriculum. With extensive experience in education, Dr. Kennedy previously held positions at Pasadena Independent School District from November 1999 to July 2022, including Dean of Instruction for Early College, where responsibilities included overseeing administrative operations and fostering student success, and Assistant Principal, where oversight encompassed various academic departments. Additional roles included serving as an Instructional Specialist for New Teacher Support and an Instructional Specialist for Elementary Curriculum Development. Earlier in the career, Dr. Kennedy worked as an Education Specialist at Clear Creek Independent School District, diagnosing and remediating reading disorders. Dr. Kennedy holds an Executive Doctorate of Education from the University of Houston, a Master's in Reading and Language Arts from the University of Houston, and a Bachelor's in Speech Communication from Texas A&M University.
