Kathy Henderson

Kathy Henderson is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in mathematics instruction across various educational settings. Currently serving as a Professional Learning Specialist in STEM at Amplify since October 2022, Kathy also teaches sixth-grade math at Black Pine Circle School and works as a Certified Presenter for Desmos. Previous roles include middle school mathematics teacher at The Seven Hills School, where Kathy led curriculum adoption and professional development initiatives, and high school mathematics teacher at Menlo School, where a focus was placed on problem-solving and technology integration. Kathy holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction: Secondary Mathematics from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and possesses a strong commitment to diversity education, technology use in classrooms, and fostering engaging learning environments.
