Maya Mitchell

Maya Mitchell, MBA, is an experienced professional currently serving as the AVP of Strategy and Operations for the Literacy Portfolio at Amplify since June 2017. Previously, Maya held roles including Executive Director and Director of Supplemental Products, leading significant projects such as the launch of a new digital literacy product and the largest digital curriculum implementation in K-12 education, which reached over 600,000 students. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Manager at Schoology, where successful implementation of SaaS solutions was achieved for large K-12 clients, and various leadership positions at the NYC Department of Education overseeing large-scale survey initiatives and operational support. Educational background includes a BA in Psychology and Global Health from Northwestern University, an MA in Education from Brooklyn College, and an MBA from the Fox School of Business at Temple University.
