Lu Ma

Lu Ma is currently the Chief Insurance Officer at Amplify Life Insurance. Prior to this, they were the Head of Pricing & Portfolio Strategy at Oscar Health from August 2018 to December 2021. Before that, they were the Director, Actuary at Prudential Financial from January 2012 to July 2018. Lu Ma began their career as an Associate at Bridgewater Associates from January 2009 to December 2010.

Lu Ma has a Master's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut. They are certified by the Society of Actuaries as a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and by the American Academy of Actuaries as a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).

Lu Ma reports to Hanna Wu, Co-Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Ian Westerman - Head of Finance, Skylar Marcum - VP of Product, and Allison Barnhart - Head of People.
