David Ryan Barcega Castro-Harris

David Ryan Castro-Harris is an experienced professional in restorative justice and social justice education. As the founder of Amplify RJ since March 2020, David focuses on teaching practices for building and repairing relationships through Restorative Justice philosophy. Previous roles include serving as a Restorative Practices Coach at Alternatives, Inc. and as a Restorative Justice Practitioner at the Community Justice for Youth Institute, where David facilitated community building and conflict transformation circles. Additionally, David has worked as a Restorative Justice Intern at the Lawndale Christian Legal Center and has coordinated mission trips and directed a jobs program at UReach LLUC. David holds a Master’s degree in Social Justice from Loyola University Chicago, as well as degrees in Sociology and Radiologic Technology from Arizona State University and Loma Linda University, respectively.
