Jin Hao Wan

Jin Hao Wan is a Senior Engineering Manager at Amplitude. Jin was previously a Software Developer at Amplitude from August 2014 to June 2019. Prior to that, they were a Data Science Extern at Apple from January 2014 to December 2014.

Jin Hao Wan received their Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2013. Their research interests include metric labeling problems, belief propagation, and the Steiner tree problem.

Jin has also worked as a Research Assistant at MIT LIDS from September 2012 to September 2013, and as a Teaching Assistant for Advanced Algorithms (6.854) at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab from September 2012 to December 2012.

Jin Hao Wan's educational career includes a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from MIT and a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Their manager is Curtis Liu, Co-Founder & CTO. They are on a team with Olivia Rose - VP, IT & Chief Information Security Officer, Cao Xiao - Senior Director of Data Science & Machine Learning, and Yilmaz Oztanir - Head of Product Engineering.
