Tyler Wanlass

Tyler Wanlass is an experienced design professional currently serving as a designer at Amplitude since October 2024 and working as an independent designer and advisor at 48 Made since January 2022. Previously, Tyler held the position of Lead Product Designer at Command AI from October 2022 to October 2024, where the focus was on designing AI-first user experiences, culminating in the company's acquisition by Amplitude. Tyler's extensive background includes several significant roles at Buffer, including VP of Design and Interim Head of Product, and co-founding ventures such as We Are Altitude and Simple Goods. With experience as an Adjunct Professor at The Art Institutes and notable positions at companies like Psyonix and Creative HQ, Tyler has developed a diverse skill set in design and leadership. Tyler's educational foundation was established at the Art Institute of California - San Diego from 2003 to 2006.
