Meiyin Qin

Meiyin Qin has worked for five companies since 2010. In 2010, they were an Intern at Anker, where they resolved technical problems related to API applications using Java and J2EE, designed and worked on UI components using Javascript, HTML, Jquery and CSS, and coordinated with engineering and product teams in identification of customer requirements for new products and policies. From 2011 to 2016, they were a Software Engineer at Constella Intelligence, where they implemented procedures for measurement and optimization of performance of new and current systems based on AWS services including EC2, S3 and containers, implemented software process based on Docker, Jira and Bitbucket environment based on Git flow, and designed and documented RESTful APIs which for collection and retrieval of high volume data use python. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Senior Software Engineer at AnDAPT, Inc. From 2018 to 2022, they were a Backend Software Engineer at bp pulse fleet (formerly AMPLY Power).

Meiyin Qin obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Shenyang Jianzhu University between 2004 and 2008. Meiyin then went on to earn their Master of Science (MS) in Computer Software Engineering from San Jose State University between 2008 and 2010.
