Erwin Janssen

Erwin Janssen is an experienced project manager specializing in battery storage and large-scale solar and storage systems, currently serving at Ampowr since March 2025. Janssen has a robust background in project management from GroenLeven, where responsibilities included steering projects from preparation to commissioning while managing interdisciplinary teams and addressing technical challenges. Prior experience includes serving as Business Manager for Industrial Packaging at Schütz, where Janssen achieved significant growth and improved efficiency in the steel drum business across Europe. Additionally, Janssen held various leadership roles at Greif, Inc., including Commercial Director for Germany and the Netherlands, and Managing Director for Benelux and Belgium, overseeing substantial turnovers and multiple production sites. Early career experiences at Van Leer Packaging and IBM further solidified skills in supply chain optimization and logistics. Janssen holds a Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from Wageningen University & Research, and is pursuing further education at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
