Caitlin E. Myers has a diverse work history, beginning as a Children's Library Assistant at Indian Prairie Public Library in 2014. Caitlin E. then worked as a Digital Literacy Specialist at Skokie Public Library in 2015 and spent two years as an Instructional Designer and Technology Librarian at Vernon Area Public Library District. In 2018, Myers returned to Skokie Public Library to work as an Assistant Information Technology Supervisor before being promoted to Information Services Supervisor in 2019. Myers then took a job as Content Developer at Intuit in January 2022, where they created high-quality e-learning content and developed efficient project management systems. In November 2021, they started working as a Freelance Instructional Designer and Communications Coordinator, which includes designing posters, managing social media, and creating infographics. Myers will soon begin a role as an Instructional Designer at the Association for Materials Protection and Performance, starting in May 2023.

Caitlin E. Myers, MS earned a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature from DePaul University in the years 2009 to 2013. Caitlin E. then pursued a Master of Science - MS degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2015 to 2016. In September 2021, they obtained a certification in "Become an Instructional Designer" from LinkedIn Learning.
