Maarten van Dongen

Maarten van Dongen, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the life sciences sector. Since January 2017, Maarten has served as the Originator at AMR Insights, focusing on the mission to eradicate Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) through informing, educating, and connecting professionals. Prior to this role, Maarten held positions as Director at LabForRent and Managing Partner at InnoTact Consulting BV, and served as Managing Director at both Pharming Group N.V. and Solvay Pharma, as well as International Project Manager at Solvay Pharma. Maarten's career began as a Consultant in Life Sciences at the Central Institute for Industrial Development (CIVI). Maarten holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Amsterdam and an MSc in Biology from the University of Groningen, complemented by management training from IMD.
