Aparajithan Sivanathan

Aparajithan Sivanathan has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Aparajithan started their career in 2008 as an Electronics Engineer at BW Broadcast Ltd, where they focused on R&D in audio processing and transmission, including programming in C language and electronic circuit designs. In 2012, they joined Heriot-Watt University as a Research Assistant and later became a Postdoctoral Researcher until 2019. During this time, they took on responsibilities related to research and academia. In 2018, they also worked as a Visiting Researcher at the Advanced Forming Research Centre, University of Strathclyde. Currently, Aparajithan is active in AMRC since 2019, where they have held the positions of Senior Software Engineer and Head of Digital Technology in the AMRC North-West. Aparajithan'swork in these roles has involved leading digital technology initiatives and utilizing their expertise in software engineering.

Aparajithan Sivanathan attended the University of Moratuwa from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mechatronics at King's College London, from 2007 to 2008. Aparajithan then continued their education at Heriot-Watt University from 2010 to 2014, completing their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering.
