Anne Munene is a seasoned public health professional with significant experience in tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS program management. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Advisor for the Global Fund TB project at Amref Health Africa in Kenya, Anne has progressed through various roles including Project Officer and Project Assistant, contributing to nationwide initiatives under the Global Fund grants. Prior to this, Anne worked as a Nurse and Site Team Leader at EDARP, focusing on clinical nursing, facility administration, and report generation. Anne holds a Master of Public Health with a specialization in Monitoring and Evaluation from Kenyatta University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Moi University.

Why Amref Health Africa? Sub-Saharan Africa contends with a quarter of the world's disease burden, but has just 3% of the world's health workers. We are working to change this. Our work has won high-profile international awards such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation's Award for Global Health and the Conrad Hilton Humanitarian Award.
