Miguel Rua del Barrio

Miguel Rua del Barrio is a Biostatistician at AMS Advanced Medical Services GmbH since May 2023 and serves as a University Professor at EDEM Escuela de Empresarios, teaching Statistics for Engineering and Management as well as Statistics with Python for Data Analytics. Previously, Miguel held the position of Statistician at Generalitat Valenciana from September 2020 to May 2023 and worked as a Researcher at BCAM - Basque Center for Applied Mathematics for a brief period in early 2020. Prior experience includes serving as a Data Scientist at the Intelligent Data Analysis Laboratory at Universidad de Valencia, where Miguel contributed to a public healthcare project focused on machine learning models predicting pneumonia progression. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Biostatistics and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Valencia, along with studies at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and a Master's in Education from U.N.E.D.
