Sanne Collette

Study Advisor at AMS Institute

Sanne is one of the study advisors of the master's program Metropolitan Analysis, Design and Engineering (MSc MADE). During their studies, students encounter all different kinds of personal and educational challenges. As a study advisor, Sanne is the first point of contact for students to ensure their study progress and well-being. Next to that she is involved in the promotion of the program and inform students who are interested in starting the master's program.

Sanne holds an MSc degree in International Development Studies from Wageningen University and Research. After her studies she stayed closer to home than most of her peers, working on innovation in the city of Amsterdam. At MSc MADE, she still comes across sustainable and inclusive urban development, but she finds the most joy in coaching students and supporting their personal and academic development.

Well-being and social safety are essential to any study or work environment, according to Sanne. She continuously starts conversations and looks for methods on how to build a safe, inclusive, and supportive culture within the program and beyond.
