Representing over 18,000 Queen's students, the Alma Mater Society is the oldest student government in Canada. Mission: "To serve and represent the diversity of students at Queen's University" The AMS oversees the day-to-day operations of 18 student-run services, 500+ student staff, 1000+ student volunteers, a number of student government committees aimed at promoting student interests, and over 300 clubs.
