Alexandre de Kerckhove

Principal Engineer Image Sensor Packaging

Alexandre de Kerckhove is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as Principal Engineer in Image Sensor Packaging at ams OSRAM since December 2015, following the acquisition of CMOSIS. Prior to this role, Alexandre worked at CMOSIS as an Image Sensor Packaging Expert, focused on packaging development and support for image sensor assemblies. Experience also includes serving as COO and Director of Operations at Cissoid, where responsibilities included overseeing operational activities in the high-temperature microelectronics sector. As Head of Sensors Operations at Xenics, Alexandre contributed to the start-up phase and development of packaging solutions for infrared detectors. Early career highlights include product development at CS2, where a production line for microelectronic circuits was established, and process engineering at ENE, leading the development of III-V solar cells for space applications. Alexandre holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Université catholique de Louvain.
