Damien Leong

Damien Leong is an experienced professional with a strong background in management and operations within the semiconductor and food and beverage industries. Since January 2018, Damien serves as Director at both ams OSRAM and ams AG, responsible for strategizing Manufacturing Execution Systems and implementing Industry 4.0 automation for AMS APAC, while overseeing operation training for the workforce. Prior experience includes serving as HR Training Manager at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, where Damien led a Learning & Development team managing 6,000 employees across the APAC region. Additionally, Damien founded and directed the F&B startup Ministry of Food@My Izakaya and held HR and Process Management roles at prominent semiconductor companies. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Nottingham and a 1st Class Honors BEng in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Manchester.
