Jihad Haidar

Jihad Haidar serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for the Business Unit of CMOS Sensors and ASICs at ams OSRAM since October 2020, also holding the position of Vice President and Head of Corporate Technology. Prior to this role, Jihad Haidar was with Infineon Technologies from January 2009 to September 2020, where responsibilities included Senior Director of R&D and Application Engineering, Vice President and Managing Director, and Director of Product Development focusing on chip card and security products. Jihad Haidar also worked at Qimonda as Director of Product Development for DRAM and High Speed Logic Products from November 2006 to December 2008. Earlier experience includes a directorial position in Packaging Technology at Infineon Technologies, and academic tenure as Associate Professor leading the “RF/Microwave Components and Circuits” research group at INPG. Jihad Haidar earned a Ph.D. in Microwave and Optoelectronics from the National Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble and a degree from Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I).
