Michael Wohs

Michael Wohs is an experienced professional in the semiconductor and optoelectronics industry, currently serving as Senior Director EMS & Distribution at ams OSRAM since March 2021. With a robust career at Osram Opto Semiconductors that began in October 2005, Michael has held various leadership roles, including Vice President Sales Europe & Emerging Markets, Senior Sales Director Europe, and Director of Global EMS and Distribution. Prior experience includes a role as Disti Manager in Distribution Marketing at Osram OS from April 1999 to 2005, focusing on marketing optoelectronic products. Earlier in his career, Michael worked at Infineon Technologies as a Development Engineer for Fiber Optics, specializing in laser mounting processes. Michael holds a Dipl Ing degree in Electronic Engineering from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, attained between 1988 and 1994.
