Rick M.

Rick M. has a wealth of experience in a variety of roles within the technology and IT industry. Rick is currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Head of Technology Infrastructure at Amscot Financial, where they are responsible for cybersecurity, technology infrastructure engineering, and platform operations. Prior to this role, Rick had a significant tenure at Ultimate Medical Academy, where they held positions such as Associate Vice President of IT Engineering and Information Security, and Senior Director of IT Engineering and Information Security. In these roles, they played a vital role in driving transformational change within the IT organization and managing various teams. Rick also has experience at Syniverse Technologies, where they held senior leadership positions in technology, directing automation initiatives and optimizing operational costs. Earlier in their career, they worked at SourceTrack as a Technical Product Manager, and at IBM Global Services as an IT Global Services Consultant, where they handled client relations and the deployment of internet-based technologies. Lastly, Rick started their career at GTE Data Services as a Senior System Engineer. Throughout their career, Rick has demonstrated expertise in areas such as technology infrastructure, information security, automation, operations support, and project management.

Rick M. attended the University of Florida from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BS BA) with a focus on Computer Science. In February 2021, they achieved the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². Additionally, in August 2018, they completed a course in Access Controls from Coursera.
