Souhail Chaghouani

Souhail Chaghouani is an experienced professional in financial management and social impact strategy, currently serving as a board member at Amsta since 2025. Souhail has been involved with the Vereniging van Nederlandse Gemeenten as a member of the expert team for the visitation committee focused on financial management in the social domain since April 2019. Additionally, Souhail contributes to the Raad voor Volksgezondheid en Samenleving as a member of the knowledge ring and is part of the VeRS talent network. As a board member of the Nationaal Zakat Fonds since October 2019, Souhail continues to shape social influence through various roles, including program director in the municipality of Utrecht from 2016 to 2025 and manager of business control in societal development. Souhail’s background includes being an ambassador for FD Young Circle and roles in financial policy coordination and consultancy at the municipality of Baarn. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Control from Nyenrode Business Universiteit and a Bachelor of Business Administration in accountancy from Hogeschool voor Economische Studies Amsterdam.
