Matt Bowman

Matt Bowman has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Matt began their career at Burgess-Norton Mfg. Co. in 1995, where they held engineering positions until becoming the Engineering Manager for the Powder Metal division from December 2001 to September 2007. Matt then joined Amsted Rail in 2007, initially as a Product Engineering Manager until May 2011. Matt was later promoted to Operations Manager for Griffin Wheel from March 2011 to June 2014, and eventually became the General Manager of Griffin Wheel from June 2014 to September 2016. Currently, they work at Amsted Automotive, where they first served as the General Manager of Piston Pins from October 2016 to September 2018. Following this role, they became the Vice President of Operations for their Powder Metal division from October 2018 until their most recent promotion in January 2021 to Vice President of Operations for Propulsion & PM.

Matt Bowman completed a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University, from 1991 to 1996. In 2016, they also attended the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Executive Education for a brief period to study Business Administration and Management, General.
