Bertrand Magnin has a diversified work experience in various roles and positions. Bertrand began their career in 2004 as a Technicien Sénior Exploitation bureautique at ERDF and later transitioned to the role of Ingénieur - Responsable technique du domaine réseau informatique et VMware. In 2011, they joined EDF as a Chef de projet IT, where they were involved in the design and implementation of Wi-Fi infrastructures for the company. Since 2014, Bertrand has been working at Amstein + Walthert, initially as a Responsable IT and currently holds the position of CIO Suisse romande et France | Membre de la direction élargie | Partenaire.

Bertrand Magnin obtained a Brevet de Technicien Supérieur in Electrotechnique from Lycée Jean Monnet - Annemasse 74, where they studied from 1994 to 1996. Prior to that, they completed their Baccalauréat F3 in Electrotechnique from the same institution, studying from 1992 to 1994. Later, they pursued further education at Université Paris 13, where they obtained a Diplôme Inter Universitaire (Master) in Management des Equipes et des Projets en Milieu Industriel from 2010 to 2012. Bertrand also holds certifications in ITIL Foundation V3 from EXIN, which they acquired in June 2013, and ITIL Foundation V2, obtained in May 2006.
