Alessandro de Luca

Alessandro De Luca is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and consumer goods industries. Currently serving as the Group CIO and Head of Information Technology at Merck Group since August 2012, Alessandro has previously held significant roles, including CIO of Merck Healthcare and Senior Vice President for Global Supply Network Operations. Prior to joining Merck, Alessandro was Vice President of Global Supply Chain at Merck Serono. Alessandro's career began at Procter & Gamble, where positions included Supply Network Operation Director and Innovation Program A Director. Education includes a degree in Nuclear Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma and studies in Civil Engineering.
