Daniel Ekström

Daniel Ekström has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Daniel began their career as a Purchasing Intern at Volvo Car Group in 2009. After that, they worked as the Head Coach - Sailing at Rörviks SS from 2006 to 2012. In 2013, they joined the Swedish Agency for Growth Policy Analysis as an Analyst at the Embassy of Sweden in Beijing, where they focused on policy intelligence in sectors like life science, digitalization, innovation, research, and industry. From 2015 to 2019, Daniel worked as a Consultant at wearebornglobal. In 2016, they co-founded TOTEM Collective and remained in that role until 2021. From 2019 to 2023, Daniel worked at DAMVAD Analytics, starting as a Consultant, then becoming a Senior Consultant, and eventually serving as the Senior Manager - VP Damvad Sweden. Currently, they are serving as the Country Manager - ADC Sweden at Amsterdam Data Collective, where they aim to support clients with the company's strengthened European network.

Daniel Ekström has a Master of Science (MS) degree in International Business and Politics from Copenhagen Business School. Daniel also holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Gothenburg. Additionally, they have studied Economics at The University of Hong Kong and Mandarin Chinese and Literature at Stockholm University. Furthermore, they have pursued Mandarin Chinese at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Daniel completed their high school education at Göteborgsregionens Tekniska Gymnasium, where they followed an extended technical program focused on Project Management and Economics.
