Ottavio Camarrone

Ottavio Camarrone has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. In 2016, they started as a Finance Intern at IRFIS – FinSicilia, where they evaluated requests for European funds and provided office support. Ottavio then joined Harvey Nash Group as an Order Data Validator, responsible for validating commercial data accuracy and reporting bugs. In 2017, Ottavio became an Account Assistant at TMF Group, where they assisted with the creation of entities, managed client portfolios, and opened bank accounts. Ottavio worked their way up within TMF Group, becoming a Junior Accounting Officer and later a Finance and Business Controller. In these roles, they handled bookkeeping, financial reporting, audits, VAT returns, and compliance matters. Ottavio also coached junior team members, presented financial results to the board of directors, and coordinated with various departments and third parties. Ottavio's experience includes working with major audit firms, banks, tax advisors, and legal advisors. In addition, they were involved in process streamlining projects and had experience with payment preparation and report extraction from bank portals.

Ottavio Camarrone obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from the Università degli Studi di Palermo, which they completed in 2016. Ottavio is currently pursuing the CIMA Professional Qualification, starting in January 2022, at the CIMA.
