Monica Sawhney

Monica Sawhney currently serves as the Finance Controller and Head of the Business Office at The American Embassy School in New Delhi since January 2010. Prior to this role, Monica held the position of Financial Controller for the Asia region at Corning Incorporated from August 2005 to December 2009, having started as Manager Finance in 2005 and being promoted in 2007. From November 1996 to July 2005, Monica worked as Deputy Manager, Finance at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, and began the career as a CA Associate Trainee in Assurance at PwC from October 1993 to October 1996. Monica's educational background includes a Chartered Accountancy degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, training in Six Sigma from Motorola University, and a B.Com (H) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, alongside a CA and ICWA from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
