Erik Hogenbirk

Research director at Amsterdam Scientific Instruments

Erik Hogenbirk has been working in the scientific field since 2015. Erik began their career at Nikhef Amsterdam as a Researcher Phd Candidate, where they graduated cum laude. During their PhD, they worked on the XENON1T experiment, a dark matter detector in Italy. In 2019, they moved to Amsterdam Scientific Instruments, where they held the roles of Research Director and R&D Manager.

Erik Hogenbirk received their Bachelor degree in 2009 from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam). Erik then went on to receive their Master degree in Natuurkunde from VU Amsterdam in 2014.
