Peter Wild

Peter Wild is an experienced professional in the field of information technology and software development, currently serving as Head of Information Technology and Internal Services and Head of Division Software Development at Amt der Salzburger Landesregierung since February 2022. Prior to this role, Peter was Manager of R&D Software Development and Project Manager for Digital Imaging at Tecan from February 2017 to January 2022. Peter's earlier positions include Scientist at AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH, Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the University of Reading, and various roles at the University of Salzburg and Wildnet. Peter is also an accomplished educator, having served as an external lecturer at Fachhochschule Salzburg and Pädagogische Hochschule Salzburg. Peter holds a Doctoral Degree in Technical Sciences - Applied Computer Science, as well as Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees in the same field, all from Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg.
