Vito Corso is an experienced law enforcement professional with a strong background in investigative roles. Currently serving as a Senior Special Agent at Amtrak OIG since January 2016, Vito focuses on protecting the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of Amtrak while preventing fraud, waste, and abuse of funds across a 23-state region. Prior to this role, Vito worked at the U.S. Department of Transportation-Office of Inspector General from February 1989 to January 2016, where responsibilities included supervising a team and conducting investigations into fraud and abuse in various Department of Transportation programs. Vito began their career as an Investigator at GTE, ensuring security and access control. Vito holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Sciences from Illinois State University.
