Elias Papadopoulos

Elias Papadopoulos, PE, PMP has extensive work experience in engineering and project management. Elias began their career at Javan & Walter, Inc. as a Project Engineer, working on installing and qualifying sterilizers and lyophilizers for Merck & Co. From 2001 to 2013, they worked at Merck, where they held various roles including Research Associate and Senior Specialist Engineer. In these positions, they managed capital projects, developed proposals and progress reports, and maintained equipment. From 2013 to 2014, Elias worked at Fisher Clinical Services as a Project Engineering Manager, leading the development and implementation of new technologies for pharmaceutical devices. Most recently, they have been employed at Amtrak, where they have held roles as Senior Mechanical Engineer, Project Manager, and Senior Principal Engineer. In these positions, they managed large capital and renovation projects, coordinated teams, and applied engineering and project management principles. Elias has a strong background in managing engineering projects and utilizing project management tools and processes to successfully complete projects.

Elias Papadopoulos, PE, PMP holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Widener University, which they obtained between 1988 and 1990. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the same university, from 1984 to 1988. In addition to their education, Elias has also earned certifications as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute and as a Registered Professional Engineer from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
