Maria T. Buccieri

Maria T. Buccieri has a strong background in compliance and risk management. Maria T. most recently worked as the Senior Director of Compliance at Amtrak since June 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Compliance Officer at MassDOT from June 2020 to May 2023. Maria also held various compliance roles at Centreville Bank, including Vice President/Chief Compliance Officer & Director of Risk Management from August 2019 to June 2020, Vice President/Chief Compliance Officer from February 2017 to August 2019, and Assistant Vice President/Regulatory Compliance Officer from May 2016 to February 2017. Before their time at Centreville Bank, they worked as a Regulatory Compliance Consultant at Wolf & Company, P.C. from April 2014 to May 2016. Maria began their career at Bank of America as an Assistant Vice President/Banking Center Manager II from September 2011 to April 2014.

Maria T. Buccieri attended Fordham University School of Law from 2021 to 2023, where they earned a Master of Studies in Law (MSL) degree with a focus on Corporate Compliance & Ethics. Prior to that, they studied at Lesley University from 1996 to 2000 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management and Computer Technology. Maria also holds various certifications in the field, including being a member of the National Society of Compliance Professionals, The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc., and the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE). Maria T. is also a Program Advisor at the University of Vermont Grossman School of Business.
