Tom Van Raaphorst is an experienced professional in learning and development and human resources, currently serving as the Head of Learning and Development at Amtrak since April 2022. Prior roles include Vice President of Human Resources at Happier Living and Principal at Trinity Christian School of Fairfax. Tom has extensive experience in learning and development, having held senior management positions at Tesla and Audi of America. Earlier in his career, Tom served in roles at Trinity Christian School of Fairfax and the Washington Wizards. Tom holds a Master of Education and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Liberty University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from West Virginia University.
