Maria Bagniewska, PhD

Maria Bagniewska, PhD has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and research industry. Maria is currently serving as the Head of Portfolio Management and Operations at Amunix Pharmaceuticals, where they oversee the Sanofi Portfolio Innovation and Excellence. Maria has also held the position of Director and Associate Director of Program and Portfolio Management at Amunix Pharmaceuticals, where they led the creation of the Program and Portfolio Management function and developed and executed the portfolio strategy for delivering tumor-targeting therapeutics.

Furthermore, Maria has worked as an Advisory Board member at Manta Ray and as the Head of R&D and Program Manager at LabGenius, where they managed Science and Technology programs for product development. Prior to that, they gained experience at Genentech as a Project Manager and CDx Project Leader and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. Maria also served as a PhD Scholar at The Francis Crick Institute and as a Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge and Centre national de la recherche scientifique. Maria started their career as a Life Science Intern at Imperial College London.

Maria Bagniewska, PhD, pursued their education in the field of Molecular Biology. Maria obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biotechnology from the University of Warsaw, completing their studies from 2003 to 2006. Maria then went on to acquire a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Molecular Biology from the same institution, where they studied from 2006 to 2008. Maria then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Biology at UCL, conducting their research from 2008 to 2013.
