Bob Trogele

Bob Trogele is the EVP & COO at Amvac Chemical. Prior to joining Amvac, Bob served as President Asia at FMC from July 2004 to December 2014. In this role, Bob was a Corporate Officer and member of the FMC Leadership Council. Bob led the Asia Leadership Committee and was responsible for the Agricultural Products Group Asia Business Director. Bob also oversaw the Global Non-Crop and Seed Treatment businesses and was a member of the Global Agricultural Product Group Operational Committee.

From June 2002 to June 2004, Bob served as President and General Manager at Bayer CropScience. In this role, they were responsible for the Bayer Advanced, North America Business Unit of Bayer AG. Bob also directed strategy and operations for the lawn and garden consumer business. Bob was a member of NAFTA Business Council and Steering Committee of Bayer Environmental Science. Additionally, Bob served on the Board of RISE.

Prior to their role at Bayer CropScience, Bob was the President and Board of Director Aventis Environmental Science USA & Canada at Aventis from December 1999 to June 2002.

Bob has also served as the Chief Operating Officer & Executive Vice President at American Vanguard Corporation and Head of Business Team Europe - Cereals at Hoechst Schering AGREVO from July 1997 to November 1999.

Bob Trogele is a professor of international business at the Berlin School of Economics and Law. Bob also teaches courses on growing agribusiness in China at the University of California, Davis. In 2012, they took part in an agribusiness seminar at Harvard Business School. Bob has also taught seminars on general management, strategy, corporate value, M&A, controlling, cross-cultural competence, managing new employees, leadership, and other topics at the University of St. Gallen. In addition, they have taught a leadership course at the University of Schloss Gracht Business School. Trogele holds a PhD in strategic marketing for non-profit organizations from the University of Göttingen. Bob has also completed an advanced marketing planning course at the Charted Institute of Marketing. Bob is fluent in French and has taken courses in intensive French at Pragmalingua, Berlitz, and L'Eurocentre de Neuchatel.
