In this role, they were responsible for various financial tasks, including accounting, finance, internal control, human resources, and supply chain management. Otoniel also played a significant role in the expansion of the company's operations, including setting up affiliates in Nicaragua and Panama. In March 2013, Otoniel became the Financial Director for Latin America Central, overseeing the Central America, The Caribbean, and Venezuela markets. Otoniel held this position until August 2017. Otoniel is fluent in both Spanish and English and has a strong ability to work in a team and handle complexity. In 2018, they joined Amvac Chemical Corp. as the CFO for LATAM, where they continue to contribute their expertise in finance.
