John P Brown III has an extensive and dedicated career focused on supporting veterans and their families. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the AMVETS National Service Foundation since August 2014, John plays a vital role in fundraising to support veterans. John also holds the position of President at the WRTA and acts as Mentor Coordinator for the Veterans Treatment Court, assisting veterans in navigating legal challenges and accessing necessary services. In addition, John contributes to Becker Funeral Homes by providing support services to families in need and leads the James H. Parke Memorial Scholarship Fund, which rewards youth volunteerism in VA hospitals. With a long history of leadership within AMVETS, including roles such as VAVS Representative and National Commander of the Veterans Show, John has consistently advocated for veterans' affairs and has a strong educational background from Austintown Fitch High School.
