Amitava Sutradhar has a diverse work history in the field of IT. Amitava started their career at IOM Pte Ltd as a Programmer and was later promoted to Project Leader, where they worked on the implementation and customization of the ERP System21. Amitava then joined Seychelles Marketing Board as Systems Manager, providing in-house support for the implementation of System21 ERP.
Following their time at SMB, Sutradhar worked at BAX Global as the Lead of the Offshore Development Team and was responsible for overseeing team activities and serving as the point of contact for on-site members. Amitava then joined Infogain as an Associate Consultant, where they worked on a migration project from IBM i5/iSeries (AS/400) to .NET Platform.
Sutradhar later joined Netcracker Technology as a Sr. Analyst, working on Telecom Billing & Management Applications and involved in product enhancement and production support. Amitava then moved to Encore Capital Group as a Technical Manager and later a Senior Application Manager, focusing on the enhancement and maintenance of in-house software in the legal outsourcing domain.
Most recently, Sutradhar worked at Amway India Enterprises Private Limited in multiple roles, including Associate Vice President of IT I&O India, IT Service Delivery Manager, IT Production Operations Manager - EIA, and Manager of AS400 Applications. In these positions, they had responsibilities such as managing vendor relationships, providing IT services and support to EIA business units, and overseeing the operation of core business applications.
Overall, Sutradhar has gained extensive experience in various IT roles, with a focus on system implementations, software maintenance, project management, and team leadership.
Amitava Sutradhar earned their Diploma (A Level) in Computer Application from the Institute Of Computer Engineers, India in 1996. In 1997, they obtained their B-Com degree in Commerce/Accounts from North Bengal University. Later that year, they also received an IBM Certification in AS/400 Application Development from SQL Star International. Finally, in 2005, Amitava completed their MBA in IT Management from CSM Institute of Graduate Studies.
