MacHelle Manuel

Machelle Manuel has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Machelle is currently working as the Vice President and Head of Global Medical Affairs at Amylyx Pharmaceuticals since April 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals for nearly a decade, where they held various positions including Vice President and Head of Global Medical Scientific Affairs from July 2015 to April 2020, and Senior Director of Medical Scientific Communication from December 2011 to July 2015. Machelle started their career at Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. in 1999, where they worked as a Senior Director until November 2011.

Machelle Manuel obtained a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Kentucky between 1983 and 1989. Machelle then went on to pursue a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the same university, completing it between 1991 and 1996.
