Andrea Halweg-Edwards

Andrea Halweg-Edwards has worked in various roles since 2005. From 2005 to 2012, they were a Postdoctoral Scholar and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Andrea then worked as an A.P. Giannini Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University from 2012 to 2014. After that, they served as Interim Director of Operations for RASEI Bioworks Center and Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2014 to 2016. Andrea then moved to Inscripta, Inc., where they worked as an Associate Director and Senior Scientist Computational Biology from 2016 to 2022. Andrea is currently employed as a Staff Engineer at Amyris.

Andrea Halweg-Edwards earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder between 2005 and 2011. Andrea also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biochemistry from the University of Oklahoma, which they obtained between 2001 and 2005. In addition, they are a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in July 2021.
