Chau Doan has worked in the food and beverage industry since 2018. Chau began their career as a Barista and Cashier at Caffe Central and Caffe Bellini. In 2022, they transitioned to a Laboratory Technician role at Amyris.

Chau Doan began their educational journey at Raoul Wallenberg Traditional High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma in 2017. Chau then attended City College of San Francisco, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS degree in Biology, General in 2020. Currently, they are pursuing their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Biology at the University of California, Berkeley.
