Erich Brodbeck

Erich Brodbeck began their career in 2013 as an Undergraduate Researcher at the O'Malley Lab at UCSB. In 2015, they joined Apeel Sciences as a Process Development Engineer, where they were responsible for process scale-up, technoeconomic analysis, PHA, and technology transfer to CMOs. Erich also performed process modelling, data visualization, and process model optimization. In 2018, Erich joined Amyris as a Scientist 2, where they were the Data Management & Optimization, DSP Development & Scale Up Lead. Erich also held the roles of Scientist 1 and Process Development Engineer, where they were responsible for data management, project management, and process development.

Erich Brodbeck completed a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara in 2015, followed by a Master's degree in Materials Science from the same institution in 2016.
