Ian Gilmore

Ian Gilmore has been working in the software engineering field since 1997. Ian began their career at LSI as an Applications Engineer, where they were also an ASIC Customer Engineer. During their time at LSI, they worked on all aspects of ASIC implementation flows from RTL analysis to GDSII on multiple designs, across multiple process nodes and using 3rd party and internal LSI design tools, with a main focus on timing closure and flow automation/enhancement through scripting. Ian was the technical lead on 5 designs, and worked on 20+ designs in total. In 2015, they moved to ENOVIX Corp. as a Software Engineer and, in 2017, they joined Amyris as a Software Engineer.

Ian Gilmore has a diverse educational background. In 2019, they completed a React Nanodegree from Udacity. Ian also holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Alberta, which they obtained in 1997. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta in 1993. Additionally, they hold certifications from Coursera in Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 2 (2013), Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1 (2013), and Machine Learning (2012).
